WE LOVE TO KNIT !

We are a group of knitters of all skill levels from around the Annapolis, MD area. Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month from 7-9 PM at the Annapolis Elks Club, 2 Pythian Drive, Edgewater, MD. New members and visitors are welcome to attend a meeting and hopefully join us. Dues are $25 annually and support speakers and activities throughout the year. At every meeting we share our current projects and knitting needles and yarn are usually in our hands.

Check our our Ravelry group ...SOUTH RIVER KNITTING GUILD to see what members have been knitting. More information about us in the posts below.

FEBRUARY 3:  Nora Bellows, rescheduled from the January meeting, challenged a full house of attendees with her talk on Creating & Creativity.   She showed a TED session led by artist Phil Hansen who embraced his limitations to expand his creativity to areas not imagined previously.  Then we were engaged in helping her think creatively about a metal bag handle and its design.

JANUARY 6:  Cancelled due to weather, just like 2014!  Nora rescheduled.

HOLIDAY PARTY AT KAREN'S was a major success!!  The fun and laughter during the "Guess Who Belongs to This Ball of Yarn" exchange made for a delightful evening and the treats added to the spirit.  Here are some photos from the evening.  Even when we have fun we KNIT!!!
