WE LOVE TO KNIT !

We are a group of knitters of all skill levels from around the Annapolis, MD area. Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month from 7-9 PM at the Annapolis Elks Club, 2 Pythian Drive, Edgewater, MD. New members and visitors are welcome to attend a meeting and hopefully join us. Dues are $25 annually and support speakers and activities throughout the year. At every meeting we share our current projects and knitting needles and yarn are usually in our hands.

Check our our Ravelry group ...SOUTH RIVER KNITTING GUILD to see what members have been knitting. More information about us in the posts below.

DECEMBER is our annual Holiday Party.  Get the details in the email soon to come.

At the November meeting, Karen, Sherry and Lee gave us a review and workshop on several different embellishments.  A well-done program which was followed by a look at all the Tanis Gray "Kings and Thieves" cowls finished or almost finished by those who attended the annual Retreat.

NOVEMBER 6: Knitting Embellishments.

At our October meeting, we shared our "go to" patterns.   On October 5-7, many of the Guild members and friends met at the Claggett Center in Buckeystown, MD for our (now) annual Guild Retreat.  Tanis Gray was our teacher.  We learned how to do a provisional cast-on, the perfect kitchener stitch, and to love reading charts.  Look for the finished "Kings & Thieves" cowl, our retreat project designed by Tanis, at upcoming meetings.

Here are some pictures of knitters enjoying themselves, doing what we love to do.... KNIT!

We celebrated Priscilla's birthday.
