WE LOVE TO KNIT !

We are a group of knitters of all skill levels from around the Annapolis, MD area. Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month from 7-9 PM at the Annapolis Elks Club, 2 Pythian Drive, Edgewater, MD. New members and visitors are welcome to attend a meeting and hopefully join us. Dues are $25 annually and support speakers and activities throughout the year. At every meeting we share our current projects and knitting needles and yarn are usually in our hands.

Check our our Ravelry group ...SOUTH RIVER KNITTING GUILD to see what members have been knitting. More information about us in the posts below.

If you would like to try and follow along, please bring the following:
- at least 20 yards of worsted weight yarn
- size US 7 or 8 needles
- cast on 20 stitches and knit 2 rows in advance

The next guild meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 4th at Maryland Hall.
We have a few exciting things going on this month! First and foremost, our meeting will feature a trunk show from local indie dyer End of the Row Yarns. Please feel free to visit her Etsy shop for a preview. She'll be accepting cash or credit cards in exchange for her beautiful hand-dyed sock yarn.

We're also opening signups in June and accepting deposits of $150 for the annual guild retreat. The retreat will be held the first weekend in October at the Claggett Center in Adamstown, MD and will once again feature the instruction and camaraderie of Tanis Gray.
