South River Knitting Guild of Annapolis: October 2013

WE LOVE TO KNIT !

We are a group of knitters of all skill levels from around the Annapolis, MD area. Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month from 7-9 PM at the Annapolis Elks Club, 2 Pythian Drive, Edgewater, MD. New members and visitors are welcome to attend a meeting and hopefully join us. Dues are $25 annually and support speakers and activities throughout the year. At every meeting we share our current projects and knitting needles and yarn are usually in our hands.

2013

October 1 Meeting: many members present and two new. Welcome Pat and Jane!

Collected first round of Knitted Knockers, which have all been machine washed and survived the dryer!

Almost everyone got a Forget-Me-Not flower to start knitting for the Auxiliary Auction pillows.

Long discussion on what to Knit-A-Long; finally decided we would all do a shawl. Next month we will bring patterns from which to choose.
