SEPTEMBER 12/13: Knitters Day/Nite Out at DoubleTree Hilton, Annapolis with SRKG members and knitting friends from Montgomery County. Lunch at Les Follies. Lots of knitting. Thank you, Teresa, for organizing and herding these cats!
SEPTEMBER 2. Got the fall off to a great start with our annual "Swap Meet" and discussion of our upcoming programs.
Karen and Brenda adding to their stashes! |
A good group but missing some regulars. |
JULY 1. We heard about The Knitting Guild of American (TKGA) Master Knitter Program from Kim Schneibolk who has completed two of the levels of this intensive curriculum
JUNE 3. Craftsy lesson: “Know Your Wool” by Deborah Robson. Amazing what you don't know about a fabric that's been in your hands for years! Following this we did "show and tell" from all who went, saw, and bought at Sheep and Wool.
APRIL 1 meeting held; this is not an "April Fool"! Finally no snow, spring in the air and lots of members came to enjoy each other's company and share our knitting. Three new knitters joined! After the business meeting and election of officers for next year, members showed off their progress on the Knit-A-Long: the Mizzle. Those that are completed were modeled and are pictured here. Note the many beautiful colors and the yarns are yummy too!
The May meeting is our annual dinner and charity drawing. We will meet at BRIO in Annapolis Town Centre at 6PM.
