South River Knitting Guild of Annapolis: November 2014

WE LOVE TO KNIT !

We are a group of knitters of all skill levels from around the Annapolis, MD area. Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month from 7-9 PM at the Annapolis Elks Club, 2 Pythian Drive, Edgewater, MD. New members and visitors are welcome to attend a meeting and hopefully join us. Dues are $25 annually and support speakers and activities throughout the year. At every meeting we share our current projects and knitting needles and yarn are usually in our hands.

NOVEMBER 4 MEETING:
Karida Collins and her NEIGHBORHOOD FIBER COMPANY trunk show brought out a record number of attendees and several new members. Karida spoke about her love of yarn and color, how she chooses her skein names and showed us yarn and kits from her collection. An exciting evening of yarn and stories was enjoyed by all.

OCTOBER 7 MEETING: Audrey Morris spoke about how she feel in love with sheep and introduced her variegated yarns. What a lucky lady to have all those lovely animals around.
